Special Events :: Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary Benefit Concert

Back in the summer of 2006, local singer/songwriter Lindi Ortega started speaking of an idea to hold a benefit concert for the Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary in Pickering, ON. Second Chance, founded by Joyce Smith, aids orphaned, sick or injured and abandoned animals. Joyce runs everything out of her home and the funding she receives for all of her hard work is by donations only.

To raise awareness and money for the Sactuary, Lindi called upon friends in the industry to come out and sing for a good cause. She also gave a shout out to see if other friends could help behind the scenes. Susan climbed on board as quickly as possible but in reality, Lindi was the star of the show... Moments That Shine was involved for some little touches and a whole lot of support. Lindi (and the Rivoli) hosted a fabulous night of music and good times. She could be an event planner!
