Weddings :: Katie and Ant

Katie has been a treasured friend at Moments That Shine for over a year now. Originally she and Susan bonded over a dress dilemma; sending emails back and forth and getting to know one another. It turned out that Katie was planning to get married at the same venue Susan said her own nuptuals ... talk about fate! Then Katie saw something on the website that she had to have. She had been looking for a certain save-the-date card design and there it was. To say an excited email was sent is an understatement.

We busily finished Katie and Ant's design (with her colours, of course) and were blown away at the response. What resulted was the sweetest, most genuine testimonial ever written. Sometimes you meet people that you just want to work with again and again and Katie is one of those people.

Being possibly the most organized bride on the planet, there wasn't a lot of hard work to be done the day-of but Susan was there just in case. The weather could not have been more perfect, the location was just as beautiful as it was years ago, the little touches like the kids' candy table helped to make everything incredibly personal. And there was not a dry eye when Katie got up for her first dance with her dad. There were also many laughs and claps from guests and especially the bride. If you have the honour of knowing Katie, you know she holds those close to her in the highest regard ... she doesn't mind letting loose, too ;)
